What is Dark's RolePlay?
Dark's RolePlay is a medium to heavy roleplay server which is just getting started amongst many others. Based in Bone County, DRP was first created in May of 2013. It has been in development since then, and is now ready to open it's doors to the public. DRP features a fully functioning TeamSpeak server and Forums, as well as custom mapping and an active, dedicated staff team. The owner, Danny, has been working hard alongside his staff team in order to shape the server into what it is today.
Why should you join Dark's RolePlay?
Since it is a brand new server, we need people like you to shape it's community. When joining DRP, you are giving yourself a chance to become a legend on our server, someone who we all will remember. We need you to join us and help us grow in players, and become a popular and well developed server. Aside of this, you will be able to make a name for yourself. Our aim is to make DRP a great medium/heavy roleplay server, where you can enjoy your time roleplaying with your friends, as well as making new ones. Our staff team is active and dedicated, and will be able to assist you with any problem you may have. It is people like you, reading this post right now, who can end up shaping our server into a full blown roleplay server.
Roleplay? What's that?
Not to worry! Although we are a medium/heavy roleplay server, we will accept people with open arms, and will be willing to teach people how to properly roleplay. As long as you can speak English adequately, we will be able to teach you how to become a detailed roleplayer. Our staff are very patient and will not be hard on you if you are not the best roleplayer. We only ask that you have an idea of the basics of the rules of roleplaying when you join (such as PowerGame, MetaGame, etc). If you know this much, we will be able to build upon your foundation of knowledge. If not, no need to worry. We will guide you along and you will eventually be able to roleplay like a pro!
What about the script?
The Dark's RolePlay script is constantly being updated bringing bug fixes as well as new features on a frequent basis. Based on popular ideas as well as unique ones, this server provides a great compromise between classic roleplaying that most folks are familiar with and our vision of roleplay. The server is currently at 50 slots but is able to expand if needed and our hosts can handle almost any kind of player traffic we get. As our server expands, our team of skilled developers are fully dedicated to providing the best experience for any player thinking of joining the community. That means that if you spot anything wrong with the server, you can easily report it in the appropriate sections and our dedicated developers will get on it almost immediately.
What about Factions or Gangs?
Dark's RolePlay features a variety of factions and gangs. However, we are always looking for people to come with creative ideas. On our forums, any player may post a faction or gang topic, providing it meets the guidelines. After you do this, you may RP with your faction or gang and show you are active. If you can prove your faction/gang is disciplined, active, and beneficial to the server, it will most likely become official. We are open to any new idea and will provide appropriate criticism.

If you are going to join the server, please consider registering on our forums at http://www.darksrp.com. After doing so, also consider posting a topic introducing yourself. This will help us get to know our new players and will let us know how many people are coming into the server. Next, feel free to join our TeamSpeak at ts.darksrp.com and say hello to us! We would be glad to chat with you and answer any questions you have. Finally, join the server at samp.darksrp.com.
REMEMBER: Join with a roleplay name, for example Bob_Gambino. If you see someone with a nickname such as Gambo, this is an admin on admin duty as their name will also be colored.
And if you want some help getting started, you can contact an online admin or helper. If none are online, you can contact one via our forums, or just wait for one to log on.
